
This is an image of Thai style barbeque or as local would normally call it moo- krata. The reason I share this picture is because personally it’s my favorite food. Barbeque are widely recognized food worldwide for example in Korea there are Korean barbeque also known to the locals as gogi gui, or Japanese barbeque (yakiniku). So I believe our most signature barbeque is moo-krata. Thus today I will write our moo-krata. As I am a barbeque lover, I think our moo krata is very unique compared to other types of barbeque because of many reasons. First, the spice and seasonings that are use to ferment the pork and beef are much stronger and more spicy than our countries barbeque. In most of the restaurants, the fermented meats do not only have salty flavor but when you put it in your mouth there will be spicy, salty, and sweet all at the same time. In addition, we offered more varieties of sauce compare to other types of barbeque, any time I went to moo-krata stalls I will find at least three different types of sauce which are Thai-style sukiyaki sauce, Thai spicy sauce made from lime, chill, fish sauce, etc, and Korean style sweet sauce. Thai barbeques are much cheaper and targeted to a wider range of customers. You can see that these types of moo-krata restaurants are available in every corners of Bangkok, thus we can see that it suits from a high status people as well as to the lower targets. Lastly, our taste can be put side by side to another countries barbeque. Therefore, from all these reasons, I believe we do not need to praise other types of barbeque above ours because our moo-krata is the best and can be classified as only one of its kind!
